Parrots in NYC, not too many stores in the city that I know of. There are a few decent ones in Brooklyn, one on ave U and one at 8th ave. Flushing should have a few good ones too.

how much? how big.. ive heard that they are really expensive though..

These are some 6" blood parrots that I just sold recently for merely $9.00 each, cost $25.00 up at LFS... They can get pretty red, but could be orange at some time.
Also picture of a female Mammon Parrot fish I had before. She's much bigger than a BP, and color is stable red. Also notice her mouth is not open like BP. Before she lay eggs, the hump on her head even pop out, too... That's one is $220.00
