Yeah, for sure Alden. I'm not trying to say Aquabid is a better choice than Bobby. I'm just showing there are more options out there. More options than paying way too much at an LFS.

I agree. I understand what you said. I just think Bobby is a cool guy who is trying to get a small business going and I want to support this brave endeavor.

And because I know MFKer's are serious about properly caring for their fish, I hope they get the best stock. Bobby definitely has some quality fh's and gets in some aros as well so if anyone is into that sort of thing I encourage anyone to meet him and see what he's got.

But anyway, to the OP, good luck in finding the flowerhorn for you. You have some options and if you need any more advice drop any of us MFKer's a line. There are many great people on here who know there stuff and are really helpful. (Angler, Pwmin, Bderick, Bloodrock, High City Rida, and Bre are truly valued friends of mine in this hobby and there are so many more MFKers who I have not mentioned, but they rock).

Look at Aquabid too. The price on Aquabid is basically the full price you will pay because we are lucky to have a local transhipper. She will charge you just a 5 dollar fee to pick it up at her house. No shipping cost! I just got a nice one from Rainnybetta on Aquabid.

This is the one I got - for a total price of $80

Goldenfish tends to price her Flowerhorns pretty high.
