i went their yesterday, most of their stock was sick with ich or parasites/sunken belly. Thanks for looking out. I will let you all know how Pet Zone goes!

Very TRUE. I was there this afternoon and same, suken bellys, white stringy poop. Tried to save two L-075s, but too high of a price and no discount.

Just a heads up, most wild caught L-134's don't ship well after capture, so most you find will have sunken bellies and white poo. One other thing, the males love to fight, but it always looks worse than it really is. GL, they are one of my favorites.

I totally understand and appreciate your point, however the plecos that I was referring to have been at this store for over a month and half now.

I think you misunderstood me, my post was to the OP not you or the store you saw them in. I believe most people here on this forum are here to get information and to share experiences.

To the OP knobhill, there are some for sale on aquabid but I think you would have to buy the group of 10 but the price isn't to bad.

You could sell off the extras to some of the locals.

That's a great idea but the one problem is my wife--being the animal lover that she it-- will want me to keep them all and I don't have $400 to spend right now. But if there are any interested parties wanting to make a group buy in so cal, let's talk!
