keeping a ''mean'' snake is not the same also i would say no snake is mean they are scared.. how long have you been keeping snakes if you dont mind me asking?

Ive been keeping snakes pretty much all my life mostly boas and pythons I was told that before buying a venomous snake you should have an extremely aggressive snake and make sure you can keep it without getting bit sorry I'm not a pro at keeping venomous snakes just doing what was told to me I've caught a lot of venomous snakes before but have never kept one so please if someone could tell me what I should do rather then insult me I would apprichiate it I have a locking tank at hand also

Iv kept westerns and worked with sidewinders just always use a snake stick $10-$20 to handle the snake and place it in a rubber maid or other cage while cleaning and ill be fine and never asume cuz it hasn't tried to bite that it wont

Yeah I have a snake stick like I said I've delt with them before but I've caught them with my hand but that wasn't in an enclosed space thanks for the info man

Well just ran it by my gf and she doesn't like the idea of living with a deadly snake especially if we have kids she loves snakes but not venomous so I think ill just stick to what I know
