I've been looking for a good pair of apistos lately, but not wanting to pay $70 for a single one at the lfs. I searched aquabid and found some good deals on there, but while on there, I followed some links from someone's page and found myself a hatchery somewhat local, in NY state (they also have a facility in FL). My point being, it looks like they carry a lot of good stuff, and I'm sure they could get some really nice Rams, since they have so many apistos. They are only open to the public on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm. I've seen numerous posts online by hobbyists that swear by this guy/breeder, and I'll be going up there soon to buy some stuff and tour the hatchery. If you call, you may not get someone to answer the phone, I never did but also never left a message. I'd try contacting/requesting through the website.
I hope it works out for you and he's able to get you some nice ones at a fair price.
Edit: I was just looking at the website more and found they do breed and import dwarf cichlids as well.
