prefer local so i can just pick it up...
if not, shippin mite be okay i guess, since its not live fish, it wont be that bad....
tis is pretty urgent, i have lost some fish due to... im suspectin its the tap water, somethin gotta be wrong wit it, i keep losing couple fish after water changes cuz ive found my tap water's ph to be at 9 O_O .... so hopefully a ro/di unit could help o.o ....
lemme know ..thanks : )

Go to Home Depot, buy two or three 35-gal trash bin, fill them with tap water, pour some water conditioner, and let it sit for 24-48 hours before you use it. The water ratio for RODI is 1 to 4, so for every 5 gallons of water, you will only get 1 gallon of "good" water, and the other 4 gallons will go to your lawn

You can use that bad water and condition it right John? and would that "bad" water be any better than tap water?

Edit***Actually, I thought about it and it is probably worse than the regular tap.

Why would you go to all the hassle, and still have to use water condition? The bad water is not any better than tap water. It is tap water :D

I was just trying to conserve the water bro haha.

Especially if you have multiple tanks that have fish that are not as sensitive.

It can't be worse than tap water. The RODI only allow certain amount of water pass the filtration membrane, so the access amount of water must be drained. Therefore, for 5 gallons water you put through the RODI, 4 gallons will be drained, and only one gallons will be filtered

Yeah read the edit. I was just trying to conserve the water bro haha.

That's why it's better to buy the trash can and "age" the water. RODI is required for very sensitive live stock like corals

Look at jack wardley water DI for discus each filter is only good for about 125 gals but the filters are cheap I have two units and 4 extra filters so If you want I'll sellthem to you like 1/2 price there all new in the box or we could trade what you got PM me

wait.... so jlnguyen? does lettin water "age" wit water conditioner, does that take cares of the pH? cuz i read those water conditioner bottom (by kordon) it says it stabilize pH, so if my tap is pH 9... wouldnt it make it stable at 9 o.O
