I just got a 110 acrylic with some heavy scratching. The seller did about 1/3 of the tank but that killed the sandpaper, which is basically useless now. He gave me a discounted price but I have a ton of work to do and my shoulder is killing me. So if anyone out there has experience doing this, wants a bit of a workout, or has tools that make the job quick and easy, I'm happy to pay you fairly for your time.
The tank is 60x18x26 and sort of a hex (the back is the biggest side, the full 5 feet, and doesn't need any work) and the top 1/3 of 4 of the remaining 5 sides is done. What's left has several deep scratches inside in various places. And the exterior has a bunch too, but all very light and easy. It's the inside that's the real challenge.
Anyone want a job? I figured this was worth a shot... otherwise this thing is just going to end up sitting out on the deck for a few weeks and my fish will be sad.
