WTB: TENTACLED SNAKE toronto Ontario

Hi Guys,

I know these are different, but I have banded file and elephant trunk snakes up for sale, both are captive bred and fully aquatic
Prices are as follows:

Banded File $125.00
Elephant Trunk $150.00

What size are those elephant trunks? They're another species I briefly looked at. Not sure if they have similar water params to tentacled...

Mount - those other snakes are nice - too, but get huge, and are VERY sensitive to water quality. I'm not sure they would do okay in a "swampy" setup - those prices are where they should be, though.

Don't worry the swamp is actually mega-clean water-wise. Waaaaay overfiltered, and with UV too now. It's the same filtration I kept giant puffers in quite healthily.

Actually I've upgraded it since then. Max size is an issue though, and I don't know if they're acidic or not.

i read online elephant trunks need at least a 90 gallon and grow up too 4 feet long and will eat anything that fits in its mouth
im looking for something a little smaller

Ya I feel you. Whatever I get is going in a 220, but I don't want it constricting on my turtle or larger fish.

plus tentacled look cooler imho, they don't have all that loose skin that elephant trunks have
banded file snakes on the other hand get huge like 8 feet or something and can eat fish up too a kilo in weight idk something to look into if i had a bigger setup

Yeah! People on my thread mentioned OSA and a couple of other vendors I'm hoping to check out. So far OSA hasn't responded to my PM but it was just earlier today so I'm sure they'll get around to it.

Hey, do you think OSA would ship to canada?

Just googled them. I love snakes...love fish... and now... I want these!

Hi, the elephant trunk snakes are currently 12" and feeding well on minnows.
