No it was the Asian breed Bahia

I didn't want to step on anyone's toe, so I didn't bother to chime in, but we all timer can see those bass as captive bred Bahia that was originated from Taiwan back then when Wes and George brought them in. Those so-call spider could be the descendant of the f1 Bahia

kendragon had his f1 and it didn't look as clean as your. Maybe the secret is feeding soaked vitachem pellets.

Or it could be just as simple as tank background, substrate, lighting, stress, or hybrid. Hybrid comes out in different shape, even in the same batch. Just like Flowerhorn.

Yes your right.. We can tell they are Bahias and them spyder Kels are for sure descendants. Reason I called them Asian breed also is because George and rapps had WC Bahias for sale at one point and I didn't want people thinking it was one of them.
