WTF... A snail did this???

Please have a look, as far as I could tell, one of my snails did this... the snail is still alive...what is this?

Does it look like eggs?

Mine lay eggs all the time in my tank...

oh i had those all the time when i used to have a saltwater tank.... but i remember my turbo snails would eat it up if they cross paths with it...

either a bryzoan or a sponge of some sort. i have somw in my tank. been in for a month and no damage or any thing.
