it was a great site...

it appears as though some members/mods are trying to remake the site:

I just tried it and a website came up but im pretty sure it's not the site you are talking about all of the links were about sports:confused:
 
Someone else grabbed the domain, apparently that happens all the time when domains expire.
 
thats come from one of the old members, although we are sure he is breaking copyright rules by even having that as his home page.
most of the old pf mods can be found on plecoplanet.com:D
 
yep, squatters have taken the name as soon as it wasn't renewed and now redirect all traffic to their sites, i dare say they would sell it back for a hefty price lol
 
Sucks cause it was one of the best online place for people to buy rare fish in australia
 
I think it's bad etiquette to shut down a community like that without even some notice...
They could have at least posted a Sticky that the site was gonna be off line.
The Gallery was very nice and all links to those pics are cancelled now as well.
Well, off to PlecoPlanet it is....

Yeah... That gallery was kickass. Especially all the monster plec pics...

After doing some research, yeah it appears as though the admin just stopped caring... Im already on planetcatfish but i suppose ill go check out plecoplanet.
