First of all, you are keeping species together that differ greatly in water requirements (goldfish: cold water, neons: warm). Secondly, goldfish simply love to eat ... anything they can find.
I suggest you either wait until your goldfish has eaten all tetras and focus on a cold water set-up, or you could go and get a second tank. It's always good to have a reason to get a new tank
Problem I see, rule of thumb for goldfish eat constantly, and rule of thumb for neons is if they are small enough to fit in another fishes mouth they will likely be eaten. Neons are a prime target for being eaten, and goldfish are glutens.
how bout if i put more hiding places?? and that thing with cold and warm water reqs? Do i set up a cold and warm set up? or could i just set the water temp neutral? not 2 cold not 2 warm? i really enjoy goldfishes together with all of the other fishes
no dont set it up nutral, gold fish like it about 68 tetras shouldn't be under 73. goldfish really arn't comunity fish and don't do well with fish other then other gold fish. gold fish like the ph about 7.2 or 7.3, i don't know exactly what tetras like but its probly 7.0.
You can't really have them together their is no middle ground for the different water temps. Hiding spots are not going to do too much for the neons as they have to eat, and when they swim out they will likely still get munched.
