First you need to find out what it is. And you really need to confirm the correct treatment before just throwing Meds into your tank. What Cichla are we talking about also? How long have you had it? And what are the current tank mates?

Get pics! And what are your tank parameters? Ph and so on? And how about Temps? If it is at the suggested 87- 90 degree range then I am curious as to what this could be. Not many parasites or some of the other suggested diagnosis could survive at the temps WE KEEP our tanks at.

my temp is at 88, the parameters arent too good because i just put them into a new tank

Bad picture for sure But it's nothing! Like I said Poop Role! Completely normal. If your Cichla had any kind of internal parasite you would see the problem in the CICHLA immediatly almost like it was getting the life sucked out of it.
