basically it's a fish. don't know and haven't seen anything like that. but it does show resemblance of a flowerhord

no...for one thing, Cichla is the genus of peacock bass and motaguense (like the jaguar) is a Parachromis species. that fish is much too tall bodied to be a motaguense. the body shape is almost identical to a trimac but the body markings look like those of a jag which is why so many think it is a jag/trimac cross.

I think it looks like a pair of Parachromis freidrichstahlii.
