I just stopped to grab some aquarium salt at Walmart and, Wow! This is terrible! How is this not animal cruelty? I cussed the manager for 15 minutes. How can we stop this?

Dude it's walmart.

The people who operate walmart don't care, the people who work at walmart don't care, the people that shop at walmart only care about cheap prices.

So, yeah the people that care are people who don't shop at walmart for these reasons. The only thing I buy at walmart is my fishing license because it's 17.50 per year and it's 10x closer than Fish and Wildlife.

A lot of states require licensing to sell live animals. If they are reported, they possibly may have the license revoked or be fined.

Contact your local vet office that deals with more than just dogs and cats. They should be able to point you in the right direction.

Let me know what they say. They should fall under the same laws as traditional pets but you may have to nudge them a little to get anything done.

Or go through your local tackle shop, do it over the phone and get an instant temp license. Never have to set foot in walmart at all.

The best thing to do is to send letters to the store manager of the store in question and the CEO of Wal-Mart explaining how you and your family won't set foot in their stores because of the way that they treat animals. What you witnessed isn't an isolated occurrence. It's the rule.

I haven't shopped at Wal-Mart in many years.
