i fins stuff like that in the container my fry are in. i get it off with a toothbrush, its disgusting

i have my wood covered in it too, also does seem to have appeared over night. i thought it was just algea.

it's actually saprolengia sp. fungus. Terribly harmful to your fish if it starts growing on them... but hardly any fish with ANY immune system could have it transferred to them. I've only had one fish get sap, and that was after it got beat up real bad.
