Today I was going to drop my girlfriend off at work and the lady across the street said yesterday a man with a bunch of paperwork in his hand came over and took pictures of my car in my driveway and left. I rarely drive the car as it is my project car and when I do I dont cause trouble in it so I have no clue why anyone would feel inclined to come with paperwork and take pictures. Does anyone know what this could be about? Its stressing me out I feel invaded in a way. I would think they are supposed to come to the door and let me know whats going on but i guess not

if the car is a eye sore and doesnt move very often it could be code/borough coming to look at it because neighbors complained

If a car, boat, etc. is causing blight you will usually get a notice or ticket to move it...

Wisconsin isnt real crazy about that stuff but they could be looking into whether its street legal if its a crazy project.

The car is payed for and registered, It gets driven about once a week and its not perfect or anything but I dont think its and eyesore... you tell me

I had a person do this to my car once. He showed up at my door a few days later offering to buy my car. I said no thanks.
