Actually its not bowfin or snakehead at all. Its eelpout....anyways I'm surprised that you can flush the fish that size in the toliet.....

Flushing illegal fish?
Posting it on your youtube?
Someone should tell F&G. lol

Perhaps you all missed the part where it was posted it was a CUSK FISH. Not that it makes it rite, but it's better to flush an aquarium fish than to release it into the wild.

I don't think it matters what type of fish it was, that was still a cruel thing to do to the poor fish. I hope they choke on a pretzel.

Actually, depending on the fish, flushing it in the toilet likely COULD release it into the wild. The toilet just goes to the sewer, which while nasty, is a place fish could survive, especially something like that. All it takes is one heavy rainfall to flood the sewers, and tada! You've released a fish into the wild.

If you're going to dispose of a fish, do it humanely and then bag it and trash it, or bury it somewhere. If its alive when it leaves your hands, there's no telling where it will end up.

This was very upsetting ... I do not care what kind of fish it is/was if you do not want a fish do not keep it/ buy it... I understand sometimes when you buy a fish or catch one and do not know about thier certain traits and you ned up with a fish that you do not want anymore however in that case it should be humanely culled and properly disposed of ......

I would like to have a few minutes in a locked room with them people with a singapore cane in hand.... I bet they will learn their lesson.

it was a snakehead. and once you find one, its illegal to let it live if you're around DELMARVA
