Really, it's not all that much different than the Digg thing that was popular for a while (Or trackback, or the other numerous link trackers people use on blogs). Or putting a link to a site on your facebook page. Essentially that's all he's doing.

There is a difference, and digg was doing well till kevin f'd it up.

This is mindlessly stealing the content and putting up ads.

Digg was known for driving content to other sites and even crashing them because of how much traffic it generated.

What exactly did he do? I'm a little confused, did he just steal pictures or something?

i mean, it's gotta be pretty serious if i'm breaking serious Man Code (the messing with his car stuffs)

a) hotlinked images.

Images are 90-95% of bandwidth cost...so effectively hes running his company at 95 percent of the cost it should

b) stealing content and isn't putting the link in the title text

alot of people KNOW to click the title to go to the full article...insted he put a small link at the bottom of the post sandwiched between the comment form.

c) he has google ads on his site which provide a fairly good ROI considering hes paying about 3$ a month to keep the site online.

d) his system, i assume, is automated so hes making money of EVERY post we make here
