Good idea :) i wana get like a bunch of 2" or so. I'll get my sister to buy a bucket with a batterie powered air bubler and a castnet and have her go catch me like 12 :) and if not i';; buy some from juan or i'll go catch them. and the last resort would be aquascapeonline.com

pond will get to cold,unless you have a gooood heater.
cast net isnt good,trust me.i lost 4 cus of one.
way to get them,buy a kids fishing pole,one with a small tackle kit.
use a small grub lure and you can get small bass easy,i did.
or a shrimp net on a 5ft pole,but there a fast fish.
 
what they got gilled midnight?? thats cuz you probably used a cheapo 1/4in mesh instead of 1/8. cast nets are the way to go trust me. you will do alot more damage butting barbed hoosk threw their mouths, these are little bass were talking about. just cuz you messed up doesnt mean he will.
 
12's not to many when u got alota tanks, and then some wont make it through the trip and the quarintine .

ya,i cut them out too instead of pushing out.
ya 25 bucks,was a brand new net,got ruined after one trip.
i wouldnt pay for 1/8th just to get ruined.

my prettiest bass out of them all is the one i caught on rod and reel.

these fish get big.

just letting you know,take the advice or trash it.not my fish.
im glad 4 out of 7 i caught died.
i couldnt house and feed 7 of these pigs.
 
the net wouldnt have gotten ruined if it had smaller mesh now would it? and i meant putting a hook threw the mouth of a a small (4-8in) fish will do alot more damage than say a 12in fish. think of the size of the hole left in proportion to the size of the mouth. on a larger fish it will have little to no effect (usually) but on a smaller fish its like someone cutting out your cheak all togather.

umm,ya,it wasnt the fish that ruined it it was miami.they like to put huge rocks in the water. lol
