wwhat s the smallest channa out there?

hey guys I have been wanting to adk this question for a while now but what is the smallest channa out there .how big do they get? and where are they from? thanks in advance! !

I believe Channa Orientalis maxes out at 4" or so.

Hi,

sp. Assam stays very small, imho smaller than orientalis. and there is a gachua variant that is said to be native to Lake Inle ( which is not proven !!!!) but this variant stays even smaller than sp. Assam.

Do you know the max size of Orientalis? I've never kept them, just read that they max out around 4", but I see that you actually keep them.

orientalis can grow as big as "normal" gachua, but mostly stay a bit smaller

thanks guys! the reason I asked is that I was thinking of putting one in my edge tank cause it is heavily planted but I dont think it would be quite bigg enuff so im not going to do it .thanks again!
