Ask sbuse about his experience with TFD. 10 rays, 8 losses and sold the other 2 before they died...

ouch...

Wow, extremely glad you made this posting and I read it today. I was just about to place an order with TFD for a ray today. . . I'm rethinking (aka - will not place) it now.

(my opnion) i have to recommend aaron from fishnabowl.com i got 4 of his pups awhile back on a killer deal, and they are doing exceptionally well, have heard many terrible stories about TFD (and some good...... but the bad outweight the good by far) hes a local in notheast ohio and hes a wholeseller so hes in it to make a buck which is fine........ just questionable about their business practices do your research check with local hobbist first!!!!! but i have to give extreamly high propts to aaron! dude knows what hes doing!!!! mad respect for his company!

were planning on making another ray purchase from him in the near future just becuase were so pleased, just remember where ever you get your ray, the need lots of TLC if you cant give them tons of love................... please reconsider getting a ray.

If you're looking for some seriously insane specimens, including leo hybrids, check with h20 custom aquatics.

Aaron at FishInABowl has several amazing rays on clearance right now. Dirt cheap. My friend Steve actually had one arrive today and I saw it in person - a flawless pup!

I highly recommend both of these vendors for stingrays.

Again, I have had at least three successful sales with TFD in the past and never a DOA. I just wouldn't recommend them for stingrays.

I called tfd just last week and they told me that they would only sell to vendors. It was a lady on the phone. Is there some kind of password or what??

I have ordered 7 rays from them and made a very long round trip drive to see them. They are hit or miss. Got 4 healthy and 3 extemely skinny and covered in lice. There facility is set up for wholesale. They do not QT so as soon as it hits the tanks it is for sale. I probably would buy again but if it is your first ray then I would not recomend. Get some ray experience under your belt first.

I too buy from them all the time and save alot of money.

You get what you pay for.

i don't know why but im scared to order a fish offline. not bein able to see it before i accept the fish as mine own. but then again im new to the game
