If I (like a bunch of other people that I know) celebrated christmas, it would be hypocritical.

It's usually celebrated for the wrong reason.

I celebrate the "spirit" of Christmas. We are not big on gifts. I like the smell of wood stove smoke in the air, the "nip" in the air, lights, and here in the northwest people are just more nice than any where else I have been. What would be a good reason in your book to celebrate Christmas, or at least go through some of the motions....

No, I don't, and I don't do anything to celebrate it. I appease my family and friends (who are mostly celebrating for the wrong reasons), so it makes it easier on me.

Oh....Thats cool man. I have kids so it is easier to be all "cheery". When I was single I NEVER celebrated any holidays. I like the smell of pine in my house also....(<<Is that not a good enough reason to celebrate? LOL)
