I have to say that I would be shocked to hear that this wasn't anything more than a misunderstanding. I think it would probably be better to PM Ken with somehting like this rather than bring it up in a public forum like this. . . just my $0.02
Sent an e-mail a day or 2 ago and no response so far?And wasn't trying to bring it up on here just posting a pic.

I saw the pics, in no way is that a managuense, it's a pink convict, or extremely close relative. I'm stunned that you think it might be a xanthic jag, I've seen your fish, you have some beautys. You must know what you're doing. I also find it puzzling that Ken would sell that to you as a managuense. Maybe someone could photoshop your fish and slap it with jag-like colors, then maybe you can see. None of this is making sense to me. Both the buyer and seller have surprised me.
You are right I should have known. And I knew the body shape wasn't right but I've met Ken and fully trust Him.Also got these at like 1/4" or so and it's just become apparent in the last couple wks.

I'll post some pics of the two that I bought. They look about the same though.

Hi Guys, This thread was just brought to my attention, anyone who has problems with my fish should contact me directly. Only one person who has gotten these from me has e-mailed me (Robert) and we are debating what they could be. I don't even have any pink convicts in the hatchery, I do have leutistic HRP, but they are in a different system, I do have one OB convict in with some wild caught A siquia ( a group of about 10 fish in a small tank on the same system as the jags, but the fry would have had to go through the filter and then into the jag tank, hard for me to believe but anything could happen I guess. I'm always good for any fish I sell if they don't turn out right. This could explain why I never had seen the light colored fry from this female before, I've raised many spawns from her before and lots of people have F1 Honduran jags from me and they all came from this same female (with several diffrent males). Guess this will teach me to sell fish at such a small size! I'm going to continue to grow out the 6 I kept and see what they look like at a bigger size. Ken
(I just saw the e-mail from John too)

I would advise everyone not to be quick to cast judgement on this and to give Ken a chance to deal with his customers. I have ordered from Ken plenty of times and have always been happy with my fish and have always got what I wanted.

When you are breeding large numbers of fish it can be very easy to get a few fry in the wrong tank and not realize it until it is too late. It can happen from just getting sucked through a central system, tranfered on a net, transfered on a sponge filter, etc. These fish were shipped when they were small and I can see why they would be believed to be xanthic jags. ken has always been honest with me and I had one DOA out of one of my many orders and he quickly replaced the fish. I would trust to order from him anytime.

On a side note I have received a severum that has turned out to be clearly not what I ordered from another SA/CA vendor here that is very highly thought of. The fish was wild caught and small and he had to pretty much rely on what his supplier said. Either way I got a misslabled fish. It's a nice fish and I'm happy with it's looks so it's no big deal anyway. But this just proves how easily these kind of things happen. I would still order from this seller anytime because I have received many nice fish from him.

Let me clarify my statement. At such a small size, there is no definite way for me to say 100% for sure. I made my post and will post pictures as the OP had asked. In no way, shape or form will I state in open population that I feel I didn't get what I ordered. If I do believe there is an error/problem, I will contact Ken directly and I encourage others to do the same.

I am still pleased with my order as of now and would not hesitate to order from Ken again.

I still trust Ken and will continue to buy fish from him... Mistakes happen...

Im sure everyone trusts Ken, this is just one of the fun things in the hobby, something new.
