Who really knows. There is no real precedent for the price. Personally Id be comfortable in the $500 range but some might be comfortable much higher than I. Personally I dont want to buy an expensive fish at a highly over inflated price, I want to buy them at a price I realistically will be able to sell them for later. Also seeing how the bowfin is not a common fish sp to begin with complicates matters. Some rare in the hobby sp fetch a higher price while others fetch next to nothing. Trying to base a morph cost off that is just impossible.

We have many Bowfin here, but I have never seen one thats yellow, they are green here. I would imagine the water color would have quite a bit to do with the coloring. We have a lot of dark stained water here so many of the bottom fish are very dark.
