Xantic plecos are they a stable color morph

Oh yeah, I remember your little on. If you look on your thread, I also posted a pic of a larger L25 that another guy had that also did that. Whatever happened with yours?
All three 25s did really well until last year. Then within one month, one at a time, all three died. I don't know why. I was quite upset.

Damn that sucks. Sorry to hear. I went through the same thing and lost a breeding colony of L46 and a bunch of their fry last year.
 
All the ones I have reverted back, some back and forth, some ended up dying like the L018 shortly after it reverted back. Had a L020 go back and forth and few others. Unless it's an albino, it's not worth it. There is a Typhoon available that changed colors, looks nice but the price tag is over $20k for a fish that will 99% for sure turn back. A lot of xanthic granulated catfish turn back as well.

Lol I wish sold off my so-called rare xanthic plecos before they reverted. Had no clue they wouldn’t keep their color…total waste of $$$
