so where's the increased crossing you said spirulina would give?

the tag date of this aro is mar 05 so i think it has a long way to go dont you :D

but since feeding the sipralina the pearls are now complete and if you cant see improvement you must be blind :D

but if the spiralina doesnt work i could always go out and buy myself a set of lights :D

wow. 14yrs of aro keeping and you know nuts about Tongyan?

Tongyan aros are the fastest at crossing. By all rights even without spirulina yours should be fully crossed at this age. However yours still looks like an RTG with pearls.

Anyhow your stand at that time was that spirulina gets the aros to cross faster. So wheres the proof? Don't change the subject.

tong yan havent been around for 14yrs so i only know as much as you guys about them

hear we go the mod with a problem every post i make about aros you THINK you know best

if my tong yan should be fully crossed now maybe i should take it up with Wan Hu as they may have ripped me off with a RTG

BUT HEY YOU KNOW EVERTHING DONT YOU SO WHAT SHOULD I DO to improve the crossing

you starved your aro for 4 months? You sick puppy. That fish is relying on you for food, I think that's just cruel just to get something to eat pellets.

T1 gutloads mealworms with spirulina.

i know, its was terrible :shakehead

I saw that aro in person a couple of months ago, it's a beautiful fish, it looks better in person. Looks better than an RTG - no doubt.

i dont make a problem. Just that on certain posts i ask some difficult questions and you say i make a prob on every post.

It hasnt been around for 14 years so what? Don't tell me you don't do any research before you buy a fish? I doubt you don't.

You can't sue them coz what they gave you is the geniune article as can be seen by the pearls. But what has happened to its crossing.......

well... i think u know best.

HAHA. U HAVE KNOWLEDGE TO AND A FAR GREATER EXPERIENCE TIME THAN ME. WHY DON'T YOU TELL ME?

i know what i can do i could put the aro in a white fibre glass tank for 6 months or turn some really bright lights on for 24hrs per day to burn the shine level up

nah i think i will just carry on feeding it well and wait for it to cross natrully as im in no rush it will get their in the end

but i may aswell stop feeding the spiralina as its having no affect at all

i wish i knew as much as some people about aros then i could share it with others

so things are looking really bad for my aro it will never cross and when it gets drop eye from all the meal worms im feeding i dont know what i will do with it :D

sorry... you dont need white fibreglass tanks or lights. Tong Yans carry red genes which gives them a much faster crossing than a normal xback. Hence can be seen from your aro's pearls.

Sharing knowledge is one thing. Thats what Rocky and I tried to do. But since whatever WE SAY IS WRONG than no point in saying anything.

Like this now. So what the heck. Do what u want. And guide the rest of the hobbyists the way u deem fit. We arent gonna interfere.

stop hiding behind rocky if you know so much share it

as thats all im trying to do with feeding my aro spiralina

i always thought that reds were slower to develop than a xback thats why they are far more of a challenge but you know best :D

but have you or anyone you know every tryed feeding spiralina to an aro all of its live ? if not how do you know it wont work

i'm not hiding behind him. If not i wldnt be posting here.

reds cross slower? If u say so :grinyes:

I keep my aros without any additives. aapl76 however HAS fed spirulina to his red. And i've seen the results, I never ever said it doesnt work so stop trying to argue for the sake of arguing.

I only mentioned its a red pigment enhancer. So why would you want a gold colored fish become orange?

anyway you can debate with yourself. Obviously you have nothing better to do than pick an argument.
