Xbox One, thoughts?

I remember when ps3 came out everyone said the ps3 was more money due to quality.... now the Xbox is more its over proced. PS fanboys are so funny. If you ccan't afford 500$ for something that will be around for 10 years you should have a job and not worry about a console.

The PS4 is actually slightly more powerful if not exactly on par with the Xbox One... so what exactly is the advantage of paying for an Xbox One, besides the fact that you have to login once every 24 hours in order to keep using your system!?

Every thing i have been reading about the X-box has been pretty bad thus far, even all the Xbox fan boys i know are throwing in the white towel saying they are going to go with the PS4 > Xbox based on the fact that sony is focusing the PS4 being a gaming system, while the Xbox is trying to be more of a multi-media center...

Oh and btw, the PS3 blew the Xbox 360 out of the water if you are just basing the two systems on hardware specs...

Uh the Xbox 360 and the ps3 used the same graphics card. I could careless about specs fact is the consoles did the same thing. Both looked exactly the same on a TV. However I will buy tthe Xbox. I play 3 games. Forza,battlefield. And call of duty. Play station sucks. I hate it. And fyi I own a ps3. I rarely use it. Online is corny . The controller blows. No available games. Was such a poor designed console

^ No it won't self destruct, but they were mentioning how the system had to login every 24 hours in order to function or something like that... guess its to do with the online data checking of the system...

Also, you still have to pay to go online with the xbox, which i know Xbox peeps will say its better yada, yada, yada...

Anyway, not trying to argue which system is better since it is subjective to the person you talk to, but every hardcore gamer i know IRL who was an xbox fan has now jumped ship and is going with the PS after hearing all the E3 announcements...

LOL you "kids" crack me up. Why are you getting so mad and offended. Its a relative subject so everyone is different with they likes no.one needs to hear you push your arrogance around. That's a bias statement anyways. Both consoles were par but with PlayStation with slightly better graphics. How can you say 360 had better graphics when there games were made on a DVD while ps3 was bluray. Games were just made to 360 standards. Again now ps4 is shown to be slightly more powerful. Controllers again is preference both are fine you just have to adapt. Online just was a little less fine tuned I thought on ps3. But so far ps4 is coming in the lead for.me and Im an Xbox Guy

I guess play station will start charging for online play now. $60 a year. That was the biggest complaint from ps users on the Xbox. I have always been an Xbox guy so I will remain an Xbox guy. Seriously the whole graphics difference thing is not that noticeable to me.

I don't want my camera constantly on for one thing and I don't like the idea of having to be online to play something I spent an *** load of money for. My service provider sucks and I lose signal for days at a time and they hold a monopoly on my area (thanks WOW you really suck).

Im dropping cable because I work 11 hours a day anyways. I still haven't gotten a ps3 or new Xbox whatever because there is only a few games I actually want to play more than once.

Playing online with a bunch of 8 year olds who play games more than I work and have all the hacks and know all the cheats takes all the fun out of playing.

The graphics on the Wii might be garbage but at least I play the games especially with friends. I still play my N64, gamecube, and would still play the Nintendo if it didn't finally die 20 years after I bought it. I'm going to check out the Wii U because let's face it, I'm not buying something I will rarely play because all the other kids with the pumped up kicks have them.

Just my thought but they are playing it very smart as the gaming generation gets older they want more then just a system that plays games, how many people are watching Netflix and other video stuff through the Xbox vs playing games only. Having a system that will do more then just play games makes the system able to be used all the time which is making them more money and giving the buyer a system that they can use for everything to make life easier vs using multiple systems. Overall I've been slow waiting to buy a blue ray player just for the fact that the Xbox one will have one, I just hope it will be full 3D capable, which im sure it will be as everyone is doing 3d now and loving it.

Same here, I started with the first Xbox when it came out and I've only ever use xbox. I don't think it looked too bad but I'd have to agree that they are focusing way to much on making it a full entertainment system with TV and blu-ray and Internet then just making it a full gaming system meant solely for gaming which is exactly what it should be. I'm not to sure yet but we'll see when it comes out. I do have to say that the new call of duty looks badass IMO.

Maybe a difference in culture. But being cheap isn´t seen as positive here. You either can afford quality. Or you can´t.
