Xbox One, thoughts?

I've read on some forums that people won't be able to play used games. Used games would be like demos unless you paid to unlock the whole thing. One more thing, that all consoles need to be connected to the Internet, even for games that don't have online features

yee. Not 100% sure but I just watched the trailer of COD ghost and it said "for Xbox one."

Yeah, they had changed the design on the controller but not too much and they said they focused mainly on making it a hardcore gamer controller which I hope is true. I think you can still see the announcement on spike.com, they talk all about it along with some new games.

I don't think it looked too bad but I'd have to agree that they are focusing way to much on making it a full entertainment system with TV and blu-ray and Internet then just making it a full gaming system meant solely for gaming which is exactly what it should be. I'm not to sure yet but we'll see when it comes out. I do have to say that the new call of duty looks badass IMO.

Yea honestly the whole entertainment thing should be put as a 2nd hand project for later on its not hard to add Hulu, Netflix,etc... And the whole kinect thing really annoys me, there is not a real gamer out there that wants to give up the controller. I can see the kinect being cool if you have little kids or are having a party at your house but other then that give me a controller. (Which I think the PS4 has a way better controller design) As to the Call Of Duty been there done that doesn't interest me anymore BattleField4 will have much more interest on consoles now that they can house 64player servers on Consoles. (Not that I hate Call Of Duty just the community is so terrible it hurts to listen and play with alot of the people) Anyone looking forward to COD Ghost remember the gameplay trailers are from cut scenes and have had alot of color corrections and editing done to them that's not the multilayer graphics! Either way though what is this 10years of 360 and PS3 it will be nice to have either new console period haha.

Edit: Call Of Duty Ghost is going to be on the PS4 PC and Xbox One what they said in the trailer was that the DLC will be released on Xbox One earlier then PC and PS4 like it always has been its just cause Microsoft pays the company to let that happen.
 
I think the xbox is overrated. So mich hype around it and it probably wont be as good as the ps4

Im not worried about online being free as much as i am with the possibility of having to buy a new console

I have to say i'm definitely more interested in the PS4... especially since early on Sony already started to approach a lot of indie game companies to ask them to help develop games for the PS4... i'm also pretty sure i read they've made it easier for companies to program games for the PS4, so i have a feeling PS4 is going to most likely end up with a lot of interesting titles coming out on it...
