Like I said FANBOY its not gonna be what they said it would and if its just about the games why aren't people still buying up the dreamcast.Great hardware drives great games, so therfore microsoft wins,sony sucks(although I still get one)

I personally think that the developers of playstation and xbox could do about 100 times better. They could conceivably create an awesome system but they just don't. That means they create new systems every few years and ensure people keep buying them. , just my opinion

Youre right in a way. Ps2 was developer unfriendly from what ive heard before.
they were so anal in protecting their source code . Microsoft was more open and was wooing developers.

Sony had a 3 year head start on the xbox and this time around microsoft has twice the developer support that ps has plus they took one of sonys biggest game developers away.Developers are say that the 360 devoelopment kit is much superior to anything they have used including the ps3 kit,I believe that it really boils down to the type of games you like to play.I had a ps2 but sold it shortly after buying my xbox,i found the games to be much better despite the small selection.I say that the systems will be very evenly matched and it might be diffidult to tell which is better.It wiil be just a matter of opinion in the end.I haven't liked nintendo since I was 10 and probably wont even consider that system at all.Redtailfool,I was just pickin on ya.

IMO, Headstart means a little . When Sony defeated Nintendo when the PlayStation came out, i believe nintendo almost had a decade of a headstart plus the Mario , Zelda and all those franchise games.

The part when you said game selection is where i agree with you 100 % . Some People like PS games, Some Like Xbox and then there are others that love those Nintendo characters. I think PS2 had the most variety. . Xbox had the best graphics and best online play. And Nintendo has a market of their own.

As for who would come out on top with the next gen consoles, i really dont know.
But i definitely love the heated competition between the big 2. It just pushes them to be better and the gamers are the ones who are going to win in the end.

I wanna see the next gen games ! Im sure they would rock. I wish they would make another kick as resident evil game on the big 2 .

I agree with that and RE5 i think thats the next one is supposed to be coming to the 360.Its all good im just geeked and a geek who cant wait for better games ,better graphiccs and just damn better all around.Online is definitley where its at though,its a blast to talk smack while kickin somebodys butt ,all in good fun tthough no poor sports.
