Xenon lighting?

its already plug and play set up for house current it come with 3 6" long rectangular casings with reflector and bulb in each one u can link them together im going to pick it up today and see how it works ill postpics later

Sounds like under cabinet lighting.
I picked up and installed a 6 light set.
6, 20watt xenon bulbed, puck light kit for $35 from HD.
Mounted to 1X4 mini hood/fixture.
Pretty cool lights. Bulbs plug in, pucks have reflectors and glass lens/covers.
Put a standard dimmer switch as control.
Only downside is the heat these puppies generate.
Had to raise hood for more air space.
Used all 6 for awhile, then pulled 2 out and still have great lighting on my 55.
Great “shimmer” effect.
These lights turned my brown algae green.
The dimmer switch gives me “moonlight” with the turn of a knob.

Post up pics after you get it done! I'm wanting to see because I don't really like my lighting. I want something a little nicer than my standard 48" fluorescent. It's too bright for my liking.

These lights dont give any benefit to the Fish as far as i know. Aww go ahead through them a vitamin D i will be ok!
