My old Xingu's converted to pellets easy and were aggressive eaters. One of my most aggressive bass was a xingu

So did mine that I got from Aquascape last spring.
 
Probably just comes down to the fish itself
Could be or they may have already been feeding them pellets.I don't remember if I asked or not.I remember most young cichla I bought from Sharkaquarium were already eating pellets and I had been kind of spoiled due to that...in a sense.

You'll learn how to convert bass over to pellets with experience. It's honestly not that hard.
I'm following your instructions but they are just so skittish.I think things will progress nicely once they settle down a little more.
 
My xingu have been hiting krill now and might have eaten some or fillets. Didnt see them eat it but there is a tummy bulge and it didnt come from the small amount of bloodworms in the mix I dumped in. They are getting more excitable every day. The 10 other bass and 4 sd geting all worked up and smadhing the surface is helping I think.
