if im not mistaken that batch he has are all from the same parents, so idk if you would want to breed them. that would be in breeding and could lead to issues down the road. hopefully he will chime in on this!

Oh i would say another year or so at least but who knows f-1's Actually F-2 is first generation captive bred sometimes mature more

I don't think you would get bad or Ugly offspring from brother and sister I could be wrong but i think the first batch of Bahia are from related fish i think when you do it to many times the BAD genes i am sure shine through ...I am in a pretty unique possistion tho i have access to a couple wild caught Xingu also at least right now !!!!

And if you really wanted to breed the xingu Hulon there is 3 pairs in the US. So you just get some more fry from diff. breeders. But mixing w/ another wc xingu would be even better.
