Xingu Sex

I have had this Xingu 1 for about six weeks, and it has grown quickly on a diet of mixed river fry and ghost shrimp. It is now about six inches, and the juvenile colours are fading.

Is it a male or female? Is it still too early to tell?

A few days and no replies. I suppose that means that no one knows!

I do not but i love the "pike Cichlid" family for sure. Would love to be able to have a tank of nothing but different varieties! The only way I have known in the past is for most pikes, the female with have spots or a white band through the dorsal.

Now moved to the big tank.

Too early to predict but I am leaning towards. Xingu 1 male.
