Actually i jus wanted to try the white tiles to make my base look brighter.. Here the comparison pic..

White base wash out the base colour.. But in live spangles on body looks more brighter..

Thanks buds for the nice comments.. I personally thinks tat black based is nicer too and fishkeeping is all on trial and error, u nvr try u never know.. I try out tiles because im lazy in putting gravel.. And cleaning is too tedious for me.. Tiles are way cheaper than gravel too.. I may try grey or brown tiles in future to bring my basses colour out

I like to do medium brown pea gravel, so seeing the same fish with light and dark backgrounds is a cool way to see how background affects fish colors.

Something I've noticed is that extreme base colors accentuate one or two attributes while muting most others.
