Should I buy one of these to replace the fluval 404 I've got? Wondering if it's any better, also never hurts to have an extra filter kicking around. It's a 75g tank.

ahh i was just about to order 2 of them...but they dont have the xp3 on the charts anymore guess there sold out 
anyone know how long this code is good for? I am insanely broke right now... but would love to pickup another xp3... If I must I will eat the cheapest I can for 2 weeks and snag one of these... but I dont know how long the code is good for... would anyone with the original email or source of the code care to iterate how long it lasts?

YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just walked out of my local PetSmart (In Philadelphia) with it for $80.24 w/tax, they wanted $196 w/tax. I feel like I just stole something. HA HA!
