no offense but that's not really as large as you make it out to be. they sell them half that size for $6 around here... takes at most a year to get em to that size

It's an amazing amazon though. Makes me wanna try real plants :)
 
I have a big one too. The Mellon sword kind it's like 23" tall. They are great plants I almost killed mine but I cut back the dead growth and it's growing back so fast I get a new leaf every 5 days. This is my first sword I always thought they were hard to keep. But they are not.

I have a Green Ozelot sword and if you held the leavs up they would reach 5-6 inches out of the top of my tank. My tank is also a 75 gallon and it takes up 1/3 of the space, height and width.

I've had amazon swords before and they grow REALY SLOWLY!
