OK, Mike, you asked for the line of my Kyoga Flamebacks, I got mine from a breeder at the Cichlid auction, but I know that they originally came from Dave's Rare Fish in San Antonio.

:eek::eek: The kyoga flamebacks from Dave are amazing! You are so lucky, LOL. Darn, I need to save up my money to get some from dave. My kyoga flamebacks came from a breeder in Florida. :)

Well, once we start having fry, we'll have to do some trading...I'd love to diversify the lines some. Honestly, my goal isn't really to make money on this (although that would be nice too!) it is to spread this fish out so it's not as rare...it's a shame some of these amazing fish are so endangered. My local club does a bit to try to help endangered species, to get breeding programs going, and I'd like to dedicate a few tanks to this if I can in the future.

Exactly, well said. :headbang2 I already have some fry growing out already in a 10 gallon. I will be keeping them to form my future group. :D

so where the pics? tydus, no colors?

No colors as of now, to be honest I am quite disappointed with their colors. I might move them to the 60 gallon where the nyererei are at and move the nyerereis to the 40. I'm going to see if that will help them since there is more area and territory. The 40 gallon is exposed in the living room where alot of people are at and they get scared easily. The nyerereis aren't scared and display better, so I think I might just do that.
