Literally I change anything in oscars tank and he freaks out, goes down and sulks, move a goldfish out of there cos he isn't eating it and he sulks had to keep off light for 3 days, but eating very well

Goldfish aren't healthy to eat all the time. They don't provide proper nutrition

Oscars have a life span of about 12 years. So unless your 120 years old you haven't experience long term effects. Just saying you should feed them goldfish. Good food and good water are the way to go.
