I have to disagree with that statement. Yabbies are generally regarded as any crayfish in the Cherax genus, and they are native to Australia. The crayfish you are selling looks to be part of the procambarus genus, all native to North and Central America. True yabbies grow MUCH larger than crayfish from the procambarus genus.

Still a good deal though.

the pictures u posted are definitely not the kind CichlidsRool posted. they seem to be like cherax redclaw to me :)
 
I agree, definitely cherax quadricarinatus (red-claw crayfish). I retract my last post in here...those ARE yabbies.
