yep...metal "L" brackets is what i used on my pond.....what kind of filter are you going to be running?

I have used the L brackets on bigger ponds , but this one is still "small" so diden't bother.

Using a trickel pond box filter in the next few days, then thinking of seting up the pond to the system of tanks around it ( but still have to get the system sorted )

That will be insane....so your going to be running the pond off the tanks as well? imma take notes. I'm just trying to do the same thing with my pond. run a 125 to a 90 to a 700gal pond. i'll be looking at this thread for notes.

It wont be too hard , the only prob I will have is heating it all in winter , the 15 4 footers and the pond will just flow into a sump pond on a lower level and the pump will pump it back upto the top tanks.

If I diden't work 7 days a week I would get it hocked up quicker I might get the filter today so I can get it cycling.
I got 12 Pbass today now I am really running out of room fast!

would it work if you got the pond heated at the right temp and then run it to the sump to the tanks? the only thing i'm missing is the sump.

The system is goping to be a bit bigger than the pond in volume so I am thinking of using a swimming pool solar heater ( my power bill is a joke as it is) to heat the sump.

I am just going to build a big sump out of sleepers and liner like the pond
I am thinking about 3x5x4 foot , so I will have alot of water to heat.

Yup , solar powerd pool heater ( would have to get a pool as well then )
