sucks dude! you were so happy to have just set that up too!
yeah, im at a loss for thoughts.

part of me wants to fix it, but no cash esp after spending $220 on the rubbermaid. the other part of me doesnt even want to look at the tank, and i have other fishy projects i could use the money for if i sell it, not to mention replacing the money i spent today.

idk, the hobby as it is at my house right now is NOT fun.

hmm could be worse ....it could be inside your house...im in the prossess of getting all new floors and walls and kitchen and paint and base board and carpet..and some more stuff im sure i had a 220 bust about 3 months ago my house has been a construction site since...oh yea wife said no to repairing it ...litle does she know im building a bigger one...hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

I feel your pain man! Sometime the hobby feels like a black hole that wants to suck you in and make you call it quits.... I get that revelation every now and then but you try to shake it off and move past. I'm so tempted to have a fire sale and completely simplify to one fish, one tank.

On that note.... It's a nice tank, try to fix it. It'll be cheaper obviously than trying to replace it. The worse part thus far is the cleanup, you've gotten that done.

Oh the joys of used monster tanks. I've been there but i'm glad mine didn't pop as bad as yours. but on the bright side if there is damage to your garage your insurance should pick it up.

thanks for the words. shiety thing is this was my "fire sale" down to one tank. i got rid of all my tanks except a 75 for this tank.

not the end of the world, just bummed atm.

Man that sucks, sorry to see. Give it a few days and then decide what would be best for ya to do.

wow that really sucks...

That sucks a big one. Its got to be a heart stopper to come in and see everything
soaked and water down to only 5". At least no fish loss. Repair and move on.
