+2 .... Why don't you answer peoples question on who manufactured the tank? WHO MADE THE TANK??? HOW THICK IS THAT TANK?? 1'' ACRYLIC? COMPANY NAME? LETS GET EM ANSWERED OP :screwy:

I DONT KNOW WHO MADE THE TANK, NOR DO I CARE. LIKE I SAID IVE BEEN ROUND THIS TANK FOR 2 YEARS WITH ZERO PROBLEMS, I SAW THE SEAM WAS SCETCHY BUT THOUGHT IT'D BE FINE. THE TANK IS 1/2", ITS CHANGED HANDS THROUGH A FEW PEOPLE OVER TIME, LIKE MOST USED TANKS.

THE SEAM BLEW. THERE NOW YOUVE SEEN IT ALL. NOT LIKE ITS THE FIRST TIME A SEAM HAS EVER BLOWN.

MOST PEOPLE SHOW COMPASION, AND I THANK THEM. BUT YOU ONLY SHOW THE NEED FOR YOUR OWN KNOWLEDGE TO MAKE SHURE THAT THIS DOESNT HAPPEN TO YOU, BRAVO!

I MISS ONE QUESTION AND YOU GO ON A RAMPAGE DEMANDING ANSWERS, A TRUE GENTLEMAN YOU ARE.

for my own knowledge, lol... incorrect. I am curious as to how it seems 'sketchy' on the seam... Sorry if you feel that way... Just how I am. Of course I feel sympathy for your losses.. don't doubt that bro. but its like a WTF situation.. like Ive said never heard of a seam busting...and you saying that the seam looks sketchy doesnt make sense unless the seam had missing pieces of acrylic on it? Like chips and whatnot.. AGAIN SORRY FOR YOUR LOSSES DONT FEEL AS IF I DONT CARE. I DO, HENCE SHOULD BE A LESSON LEARNED FOR OTHERS WHO PALN ON BUYING USED TANKS...but it doesnt hurt to find out how it may have caused it. That is all i am trying to imply...

Sorry to hear that man, seems like quite a few Acyrlic going out these days.

Good luck with the repair operation, and getting that bad boy running again.

You need to take it easy buddy....we all want to know what happened. Not saying that you need to show your compassion or anything in that regards, but take it easy. I have 600 gallon Tenecor. I am ALWAYS afraid when I read of acrylic tank having problems. I want to know what he meant by "sketchy seam" I want to see pictures...I want to see detailed pics...

But I won't go all ways trying to find out what happened after this ordeal..

It's like asking question on how a person died to his family right after it happened.

I am sure he'll want to get to the bottom of it one way or another, but he's not going to do it when you want him to on your time.. Give him time to get settled. He's not looking for a weld-on today to fix the tank.

thanks for your knowledge, but does your tenecor tank have any chips on the seams ? I know of someone who does and he said he has a chunk missing left corner... think it'll be a hazard in future?

MIne does not have any missing chunks.

Any "chunks" missing can potentialy be hazardous depending on WHERE and HOW BIG are the chunks.

I'd be worry if there's any missing chunk on the corner..

Sorry to hear about the tank, hope you get it back up and running soon..
