Hey PufferPunk was it Filbert that did that to the EBJD? I thought he was one of the rarer 1% ones that was okayish with tankmates?

Yep & Filbert still has many tank mates, including a large male frontosa. The thing is, that JD grew up in the tank with the fahaka. Lived together for several years. Then one day, the fahaka just turned on him. That's the way they are.

Yeah Fahaka are pretty unpredictable. I think I'm just going to let my new guy have the whole tank to himself.

Yeah i've noticed my guy's eyes look redish sometimes and occasionally they get that luminescent shiny look like Puffer Punk is talking about.

best friends. the smallest of fahaka with a cichlid the stripes always been there not sure if hes always stressed he seems fine other then he likes to be boss 24/7
