I always thought that in america, all the kidlings had school for ages then had a 3 month break mid year?

Nope we get other breaks(winter break, thanksgiving, spring break and then the longest is summer)

When I was in school, we got 2 weeks off max for the Holidays

Dang, when I was in high school we had maybe a week off. The week of christmas then a day after new years.

We get 4 terms a year consisting of 10 weeks each. The rest are holidays. So 6 weeks Im on now, then three 2 week holidays.

you's get pretty much the same amount of holidays as AUS, just 3 smallers ones and a HUGE ONE.

yours adds up to 13 weeks off
ours adds up to 12 weeks.
