Yay! My new ropefish!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
:iagree: I did remember my dad would sometimes feed his ropefish feeder fish, back then, they were still doing research on diseases linked to feeder fish. He's big, the LFS here never has them, always on a wish list.:(

Hmmm 7 inch ornate and a skinny little rope fish, not a good combination I think. But yeah you'll never know unless you try I guess.

"And the next morning, all that was in the tank was the ropefish, Daddy, where did all the fish go!" What I said one morning when I was 10 after my dad got alot of feeder fish for his ropefish!!:naughty:

Welcome.

8 inche Pacu + 5 inche Fire Eel = Headless Eel!!

I had this about 3 years ago.:(

damn, buy those palmas, buy 3 and grow them out in the 20. 6 dollars is a great deal. I'd never find them that cheap in Europe, even at 3 inches.

Palmas are good looking, active bichirs.

well done on the skinny snakey birchir! i have 3 myself. anyhows go read this page, its pretty good

don't bother with flake/pellet foods, they might go for hikari canivore pellets, but i have other fish in the tank i keep mine in, so i can't say for sure. and COVER YOUR TANK!!! i had one escape while i looked away for a bit during wc, found him all dried out only much later.

they love any feeders slim enough to fit. especially guppies and platys. neons/cardis a bit too ex hehe
