weird looking

I like them. I dont know why but most lfs dont carry a huge variety of good africans, and if they get them in its usually by mistake, so we always pick them up =) Slow is good for us cuse it'll be awhile untill they get a bigger tank.

 From what I can tell guppys takes whatever they can get

Congratulations on the Calvuses Ash! I love Calvus too, they are really cool Tanganyikan Cichlids. I had some before but i would like to get some more in the future. Too bad they grow really sloooow.... but the bigger they get the better they will look!
Just curious Ash... What kind of tank are you going to be adding them in?? Just be sure to have them in a high PH tank.. they do alot better in a ph around 7.8 - 8.5, and their colors will be more vibrant! Maybe you already know all this, but i assume it does'nt hurt to hear it again..right? :D

Those are really nice looking, never saw them before, now I want some.Just started keeping africans recently and really enjoying them...More tanks I need more tanks!!

lol I am with you on needing more tanks!!

ans Twk; Not sure I am assuming they switch to the 30gal but by the time they are bigger the fish in their will be gone so we going to re-do the tank most likly to buffer the ph looking at some stuff to do that earlier. They in a 10gal right now untill we can clean out and switch fish from the 20q, prob re-do that one also. Thanks we werent sure what best ph level to keep them was just it was high.
