I just got a little yellow boxfish yesterday. He's about the size of a penny. S far he's swimming around, eating part of my copepod infestation. Anything special should know about him? I've done the general research already though.

They are slow feeders, so don't keep them with anything that will deprive them of getting access to food. They are also one of the more whitespot prone fishes. They can reach 18'' in length. Any pics?

couldnt have said it better myself, just make sure you spot feed to ensure hes getting enough food if/when theres other fish with him. He will need a rather large tank, around 180 gallon when adult size, they can grow rather fast and do need a varied diet of common foods such as shrimp, fish meat, squid, salt water feeder fish, and try to mix some greens in there every now and then. other foods will be fine as well.

ohh,,,,,,,

aside from what has been said and the obious ostracitoxin (however it's spelled)

nope :)

How are they with inverts?
Or are they like puffers in that regard?

when they get bigger i know all worms and some crustaceans on on the menue.. as are most molluscs

i think stars and urchins are fairly safe..
