well i think i might put my other one in now that everything seems to be doing fine. the africans seem pretty fine to me the lab chaed it for a while but that stoped after 2 days

truthfully in my experience, the bluegill if large enough might be a slight threat to some of your africans, bluegills can be quite mean if they wanna be, my oscar wont mess with my bluegill and the oscar is easily 2" longer, heck often my flowerhorns wont even mess wtth the bluegill....

well i dont mind if the bluegill eats my africans. the bluegill is my prized fish now.

Yeah I have two little blue gill and they seem to rule the tank, I had to send an oscar to a friends house because of them. The oscar was a little bigger than them, but that didn't seem to matter.
Watch out for those guys.

I've had an oscar try to swallow a small bluegill. The Bluegill showed him who's boss.
