I was wondering on these big plecos what works best for there breeding caves?
I a few pieces of this hollow driftwood.
I was thinking of attaching a piece of slate to one end and making a cave out of them there 18" long and wide inside?
Only other cave I can find big enough is a traditional clay cave specially made and they seem overpriced.

This little yellow chubby went from yellow to black in a week!
I sold a few Chubbys to a friend that breeds them, he said he doesn't even know the sex till they are on eggs, then he knows which is which. Body size, head, odontodes, etc. apparently doesn't mean anything when it comes to this species.
